BS EN 12004 — Tile adhesives: definitions and specifications

This European standard introduces and classifies adhesives used in tile installation and specifies that these materials must be able to withstand the normal stresses resulting from building use. It explains that the performance of adhesives depends on the type of bonding material and the substrate, and that the adhesive must be resistant to environmental factors such as humidity, heat and climatic conditions.
